Çoçaj – part of the ceremony of starting the initial training of the VIII generation of judges

Prishtina, 18.02.2021 – The Kosovo Judicial Council Chair, Skender Çoçaj, participated in the ceremony of starting the initial training of the VIII generation of judges, organized by the Academy of Justice.

This ceremony was led by the Director of the Academy, Enver Fejzullahu, which was also attended by: US Ambassador to Kosovo, Philip Kosnett, Head of the EU Office and Thomas Szyong.

KJC Chair Çoçaj, wishing the new judges a good start, stressed the important role that judges have on themselves and the challenges that await them in their work.

“The path you are starting today may seem difficult, but it will be an honour for you to serve the judiciary of our country through your work, therefore you should feel proud and work with maximum dedication and commitment, fulfilling our goals for an independent and accountable, impartial and transparent, efficient and reliable judiciary”, said Çoçaj.

The newly appointed judges will start the initial theoretical and practical training program on February 22, 2021.
