KJC Secretariat assists the Council in the implementation of regulations and policies with regard to management, budget and courts administration.
Under the guidelines of the Council and its Committee for budget, finance and personnel, Secretariat manages the administrative and support staff of the judiciary, including the allocation of administrative and support personnel in the courts depending on the workload, maintaining the personnel registers , establishment of the system of performance evaluation, ensuring an appropriate discipline of the courts employees and defense of their employment rights.
Under director’s responsibility, Kosovo Judicial Council Secretariat advices and assists the KJC in performing its tasks and responsibilities, in managing the judiciary and courts and is responsible for implementation of its decisions as well as for all administrative and investigating functions which are related to the support of the Council in accordance with the rules of procedure of the Council.
KJC Secretariat is comprised of civil servants who constitute the central administration of Kosovo Judicial system and is built on the basis of two column, such as: General administration service and legal issues and policy development service. As Head of KJCS is director of Secretariat.
