USAID Project “Activity for Justice” introduces Action Plan

Prishtina, 19.01.2021 – The Kosovo Judicial Council (KJC) Chair, Skender Çoçaj, welcomed today in a meeting the manager of USAID Project – Activity for Justice, Mrs. Geralyn Busnardo.

The purpose of this meeting was to present the activities and work plan of said project that provides citizens with access to better quality judicial services as well as numerous tools to address the needs of the judicial system.

Mr. Çoçaj cordially thanked the USAID Mission for its continued assistance, commitment and engagement through various projects provided to Kosovo’s judicial system in order to advance the rule of law.

“I want to emphasize the readiness of the Kosovo Judicial Council to continue cooperation with USAID and the new project, hoping to meet common goals,” said Çoçaj.

Mrs. Busnardo informed chair Çoçaj in detail about the planned project activities, as well as the Action Plan.

The Director of the USAID Office for Democracy and Governance, Ms. Christine Davis joined this meeting online, who said that we should all cooperate as we have the same goal, namely to improve the rule of law.
