KJC supports the Kosovo Chamber of Private Enforcement Agents

Prishtina, 07.10.2020 – The Chair of the Kosovo Judicial Council (KJC), Skender Çoçaj, welcomed for a meeting today the President of the Kosovo Chamber of Private Enforcement Agents (OPPK) Arben Gashi and the President of the Supreme Court, Enver Peci.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the necessary modalities regarding the development of the enforcement procedure of the Basic Courts – Departments for Minor Offenses which are related to the imposition of fines, as the next step after the issuance of the Instruction by the Supreme Court.

OPK Head, Mr. Gashi, said that the proper development of the enforcement procedure for the said rulings would increase the efficiency of the judicial system and stressed that the OPPK is ready to assist in this process.

In this regard, S.C. President Mr. Peci and the KJC Chair, Mr. Çoçaj, expressed readiness to continue and further deepen cooperation with the OPK, in order to strengthen the justice system.
