The next meeting of the Steering Board of the ICT / CMIS Project was held

The thirty-third (33) consecutive meeting of the Steering Board of the ICT / CMIS Project was held, attended by the Chair of the Kosovo Judicial Council, Skender Çoçaj, the Chair of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Jetish Maloku and through video conference representatives from the Norwegian Embassy in Prishtina, the Council of Europe in Prishtina, the Ministry of Justice as well as foreign and local experts participated.

In this meeting was presented the Progress Report of the CMIS Project for the period July-December 2020, the main achievements of the Project for this period were discussed and the Annual Work Plan of the CMIS Project for 2021 was approved.

Chair Çoçaj, said that despite the situation created by the pandemic, the CMIS Project has successfully continued the implementation of activities planned for this year. Among other things, he highlighted the main achievements during this period such as: training and implementation of CMIS in the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Appellate Prosecution and branches of courts in Zubin Potok and Leposavic, implementation of automatic distribution of cases in courts and basic prosecutions, electronic prosecutor-court liaison, case registration in the Court of Appeals and other activities successfully implemented during 2020.
