Kosovo Judicial Council strongly condemns the covertly act of burning the official car

Kosovo Judicial Council after its meeting today with President of Basic Court of Prishtina, Mr. Hamdi Ibrahimi, was informed closely regarding the burning of the car of Basic Court of Prishtina which was in use by President of Basic Court of Prishtina, Mr. Hamdi Ibrahimi.

Kosovo Judicial Council expressed its indignation and condemns severely this covertly acts as a type of blackmailer mechanism to recede from the application of justice. This and the other acts of a week earlier will not deter any of judges of Republic of Kosovo in defending the Constitution, law and order.

Kosovo Judicial Council calls all competent authorities that this act that happened at this Saturday night in Podujevë, and the burning of other two official cars about a week ago, one of the Court of Appeal in Prizren and the other of Basic Court of Peja, to enlighten them as soon as possible and the perpetrators be brought before the justice. Demolition and damage of public property is unacceptable and reprehensible.

Kosovo Judicial Council ensures all citizens of Republic of Kosovo that these cats, whoever has caused and whatever the motive was to commit them, will not affect the work of Kosovo judges, who always will be at the service of the justice.

Kosovo Judicial Council encourages the courts to continue in carrying out its obligations with the highest professional and moral responsibility, sharing the justice impartially and efficiently the same for all citizens of Republic of Kosovo.

Also, the Council, once again, expresses its commitment to the building up an independent, impartial judiciary without political interference and able to perform strictly its legal and constitutional duties.
